A group of volunteers from all around Empingham have come together to create a plan to assist all our elderly and more vulnerable friends and neighbours through this challenging and difficult time due to the coronavirus outbreak.

If you, or a relative, are affected and need support please know that we are here to help.

We are working closely with both the Empingham Medical Centre, our local village shop and surrounding shops and local businesses to coordinate the help.

If you need prescriptions collecting from the Empingham Medical Centre we will be happy to arrange this for you.

If you need supplies collecting that you cannot get via an online order then we are happy to arrange this for you.

If you would just like a chat over the phone we are here for that too!

All you need to do is contact us either by email or phone and explain to our lovely Parish Council Clerk Rowan what you need. This is then shared with our network of volunteers who will make contact and be able to support you.

Any contact we make with you will be done safely, through a closed door and we will make it clear we are representing the Empingham Volunteer Group.

Email : clerk@empinghamcouncil.org.uk or 01780 460557 (if possible, please try to contact between the hours of 10am – 2pm and leave a message if we don't answer first time). The doctors surgery also have our details and can liaise with us to arrange collections too.

Please be reassured if you provide us with your telephone number or email address it will only be used for the purpose it was intended and it will be stored safely and deleted once we get past the need for self isolation and support.
